Sully Colts U-10s v Cogan B

COGAN B, after suffering a 6-0 beating the week before by the Falcons, put together a tremendous passing game.

The first half was nearly all one-sided as Cogan led 2-0 with both goals coming from Ashley Vickery, set up by Alex Goody and Joseph Janes.

The second half was a different kettle of fish as Sully came at Cogan straight from the kick off and got a well deserved goal.

They nearly pulled level but for a great dive from Cogan goalie Nathan Jones, but as they kept up the pressure, they finally got their second goal.

This spurred Cogan on to get back the the style they played in the first half, passing the ball around and finally breaking Sully's strong defence to get the winner.

Joint man of the match players linking up well, Joseph Janes running to the bye-line and crossing for Ashley Vickery to slot the ball past Sully's keeper to win the match 3-2 and claim his hat trick.

A tough game, but a nice belated Christmas present for Cogan. Well done lads.
