Soccer match raises £550 for Holme Tower

VALE of Glamorgan Council personnel organised a sponsored soccer match recently in aid of Holme Tower.

VALE of Glamorgan Council personnel, supported by a number of local sporting enthusiasts, have raised around £550 for Penarth's Holme Tower Hospice during an annual charity soccer match.

Staged at Barry's Jenner Park stadium just before Christmas, the event was organised by Mark Stanton and Glyn Davies, who were extremely grateful to individuals, organisations and businesses for their donations and support.
