IF A census were taken in this country, I am sure the majority of people do not want a war with Iraq, or anywhere else.

I well remember an uncle of mine in the First World War who was blinded and shell-shocked.
He never ever recovering from the terrors he had seen and he lost his dairy business and had six children to support.
The family were hard pressed to survive: my parents often sent them food and clothes parcels to help out and my aunt had her life almost ruined by the hardship and worry.
My father just escaped being sent over to France where our troops had a very rough time of it.
It is a pity we cannot put all the war-hungry politicians on an island and have them fight each other. They are always safely behind the scenes.
Leave the average man in the street to get on with his life and live in peace. There are NO winners in a war.
