Post offices in jeopardy

Penarth Labour Party is very concerned about the proposed closure of three Post Offices in Penarth.

We feel very strongly that they provide an essential service to local people, and it would significantly lower the quality of life for the people that use this service if they were to close, particularly old age pensioners and the disabled.

Most of us who have used the Windsor Road Post Office are aware that it is constantly busy.

With the lack of parking in the town, we think many would find it difficult to use the main post office if the sub-post offices in Queens Road, Sully Terrace and Tennyson Road were to close.

If you agree with Penarth Labour Party that these post offices should not be closed, then write to Dave Barrett, Head of Area, Post Office Ltd. c/o National Consultation Team, PO BOX 641, St Albans AL1 5XN and sign our petition in Windsor Road this Saturday, February 1.
