IT SEEMS like years since Stevie Wonder last graced our charts with a musical offering, but still this double album is packed with classics.
Called 'Stevie Wonder: The Definitive Collection', both CDs are crammed with the songs that made this fantastic singer/songwriter a household name.
If asked to name his most successful track, no doubt many people would remember 'I Just Called To Say I Love You', but when you put this CD on your player, chances are you will be surprised at just how many tunes you can hum along to, or at least are familiar with, that you have never before connected to this artist.
The excellent 'As', covered by George Michael and Mary J Blige not so long ago belongs to Stevie Wonder, as does Higher Ground and the up-beat 'Master Blaster (Jammin'), arguably made most famous by the late, great Bob Marley.
But who could forget 'My Cherie Amour', Isn't She Lovely' and the incredibly funky 'Superstition.'
This is a well-cool album which bursts with talent.
If you thought you didn't like Stevie Wonder, perhaps you should get this one album that contains 38 of his best known releases and check again.
