Penarth Lacrosse win Welsh Men's Eights

THE PENARTH Lacrosse club played host to the first Welsh Men's Eights tournament held on February 23.

The four teams that entered the tournament are all Welsh based highlighting the growth in popularity of this sport in Wales.

After a round robin involving Aberystwyth University, Penarth, Swansea and UWIC the two top teams played out the final, which was eventually won by Penarth who beat UWIC 7-1.
