Badly off

This letter was Prompted by last weeks letter from Trevor Turner (Chest Pains).

I have a 12 year history of heart disease, heart attack, stents and surgery.

I too have had a recent letter telling me they will let me know when an appointment has been made for me.

Recently I discovered just how badly off we Cardiac patients are compared to our English counterparts.

It's well documented that people die before they can get treatment due to the lack of money in Welsh Hospitals.

So what prompted Jane Hutt to spend money on more administration.

The people on the ground have had none of the money she says she's put into the Health Service in Wales.

This information was given to me by a senior cardiologist in the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, a few weeks ago.

I attended a meeting to discuss the treatment of a friend with the cardiologist.

He says patients in England are better of than those of us in Wales, they have dedicated cardiac hospitals, and operating theatres dedicated to cardiology, they don't have to share for the odd one or two half days a week with every other department, he also said the Assembly have done nothing to help his patients.

Are you sure Jane Hutt that by spending more money on letter writers this is the best you can do.

Perhaps we should go back to central government.

Welsh cardiac patients could have a better health service and possible better chance of survival.
