Waitress walks free

A PENARTH waitress, who romped with a schoolgirl in home-made lesbian sex movie, made by her restaurant boss, walked free from court on Monday.

Twenty-nine-year-old Sian Rogers, of Archer Road, admitted recruiting the girl, aged just 14, to appear in the video made by the owner of her restaurant.

Cardiff Crown Court heard Rogers and the girl took part in movies with restaurant owner Antonio Zanellato dir-ecting - including sex romps in a Jacuzzi.

Prosecutor Hywel Hughes, said: "Zanellato owned a restaurant, and Rogers started to work for him.

"One night he was taking her home and they had sex. She in turn introduced him to the 14-year-old."

Rogers then took part in a series of videos with Zanellato - after work in the Italian restaurant, at the seaside resort of Penarth.

He said: "The first video shows sexual activity between Zanellato and Rogers, filmed by the 14-year-old."

The jury was shown a movie including two teenage girls dancing in the nude in Zanellato's bedroom.

Another video starts with Rogers and the schoolgirl in the bath together, with Zanellato giving directions.

Mr Hughes said: "The sequence then moves to the bedroom, with Rogers showing her how to use a sex aid."

Mr Hughes said most of the films were set in Zanellato's home in Penarth.

He said: "He owns all the equipment, and the majority of the filming takes place in his flat. "He directs and appears in the films and indulges in explicit sexual acts."

The court heard police became involved after the mother of one of the girls found a message from Zanellato on an answering machine.

Former prostitute Rogers admitted taking indecent photographs by appearing in the films. Zanellato was cleared at an earlier hearing, saying he believed the girl was 17.

Rogers, was given a two year community rehabilitation order.

Judge David Wyn Morgan told her: "You can put these matters behind you, as I'm sure you are determined to do, given the unsavoury aspects of this case."
