Let us pray

IN THE current climate of uncertainty, I have written this poem to ask people to pray for all those on every side to end this conflict in a peaceful way.

Bombing into Spring

'Tis the time when flowers are blooming, And spring brings its rebirth, But soon war could be looming, And a battle rage on earth.

So let us pray for the little children, Who walk in shoeless feet, And may all men lay down their arms, And make our peace complete.

For time for us is running out, We have not time to gain, This glorious summer is in doubt, We could all die in pain.

So let us all continue, To go gently on our way, But as the sun shines from the sky, Just stop a mo to pray.
