Come and try sessions

BARRY Leisure Centre, in conjunction with the Vale of Glamorgan Council's Sports Development Unit, is offering adults and children with learning disabilities the opportunity to try their hand at a variety of sports.

On Saturday, April 26, the centre (11am-12 noon for adults and 1-2pm for young people) will host a multi-activity session where participants will have the opportunity to test their skills in sports such as football, basketball and curling.

If there is enough demand, the centre intends to offer similar opportunities in the future.

Anyone wishing to book a free spot at the come and try session should contact Vale Disability Sport Cymru Development Officer Karen Davies on 01446 704728.
