CHRISTINE Hamilton will be attending a Penarth school's charity auction next month.
St Cyres School will be holding the autograph sale for Save the Children.
There will be signatures from the Manic Street Preachers, Graham Norton and Nelson Mandela.
Christine is making a special early trip to Wales on April 13, the day before her performance at Swansea Grand Theatre.
She said: "I am absolutely delighted to be able to support such a worthwhile cause.
"It will be fabulous to meet such an enterprising group of children who have dedicated so much of their time and energy to helping others."
The selling will be co-ordinated by two professional auctioneers, Steven Hill from Manor House Fine Arts and Ryan Beach of Anthemion Auctions who appears on TV's Flog it.
It will take place on Sunday, April 13, at St Cyres School, St Cyres Road between 4pm and 8 pm.
Autographs were collected by 11-year-old pupils who wrote to celebrities over the past two years. The first auction took place back in 1987.
With more than 500 signed items and still more to come there is a varied selection.
Mr Beach said: "I enjoy getting involved with charity events and if my schedule permits me I will go.
The school called the auction house for advice so I decided to help with the sale.
There is plenty of memorabilia which will appeal to all tastes ranging from sport to film and politics to writers."
A spokesman for St Cyres School said: "Some pupils have been staying behind after school to sort out the database and to organise the autographs."
