I would like to say well done to the hard-working pupils of St Cyres for gathering such a crop of autographs for their auction this coming Sunday.

I was a pupil at the school when the first one was run, well over ten years ago and I appreciated the work that went into it then

Although I was not in the academic year involved with the organisation, I was very aware of the time and dedication given by those pupils who were.

If the students of this era have put the efforts in I think they must have to get such big names as Christine Hamilton involved, I wish them all the very best.

But now that the pupils have done their bit, I think it is up to the people of Penarth to make sure they give them all the support they deserve.

Go along and show some solidarity.
