KICKING off his newest release with the up-beat Hello Goodbye, Paul McCartney could not do any more to show that he really is 'Back In The World'.
After disappearing off the music scene for so long, it seemed as though we had heard the last of Macca.
But that is not the case. And with over two hours of classic Beatles, mixed with a smidgen of Paul's solo compositions, this album is fantastic.
Recorded on his first American tour for years, Back In The World captures all the energy Paul must have poured into the mammoth trip.
The double CD contains all the old favourites, like Jet and We Can Work It Out, on the first disc, followed by a huge batch of foot-tapping tracks like Eleanor Rigby, Can't Buy Me Love, Hey Jude, Lady Madonna, Band On The Run and Back In The USSR.
It also includes the atmospheric Live and Let Die - a must for all Bond fans, and the lovely Let It Be.
Some may disagree, but the second disc is by far the strongest of the album, and if only for the songs on that one alone, buy this album.
It's perfect for all moods, all occasions and all tastes.
Who can say fairer than that?
