Easter verse

AS EASTER approaches and signs of spring in full bloom are showing I have enclosed the following poem about spiritual rebirth.

A Thought at Easter It was on that tree at Calvary, that our dear Lord cried, Forgive them oh my Father, and with a breath He died,

But that they thought would be the end,

They did not know Him as their friend,

And when He rose to life once more,

He truly opened Heaven's door,

For those who came to Him and cry,

To let Him to their hearts, won't die,

For that is why He came to earth,

That we may know the second birth,

And that there is always hope while still,

We live and breathe, as so we will,

But do not delay, or leave Him out,

For then the future is in doubt,

But come to Him and know His love,

And one day see Him up above.
