AS MANY of our regular customers know, for the past three weeks we at Prisks have had a raffle in aid of children in Kosovo.

We would like to thank the following Penarth traders for donating prizes: Paul Church, P C Church greengrocers; Roger Wason, Robert James Household Stores; Shaun Lush, David Lush Butchers; Steve Docking, St Fagans Hotel; and R Bingham and D Taylor, Kitchener and Thomas Post Office.

We also donated a giant egg.

Mrs Jill Jakob of Tenovus drew out the tickets last Saturday and the following people have won prizes: Ticket 244, Mary Thomas - fruit; 395, Jim Clarke - egg; 68, Cath Rollings - toy; 190, Mrs Heron - David Lush voucher; 245, Ron Fellows - Robert James voucher; 240, Martin O'Brien - wine.

We raised £114.60 which will be given to Nick Osborn of Wasons Ltd, who is taking the supplies to Kosovo. We would like to thank all who purchased tickets.
