Surprising

IT IS SURPRISING to me that Anthony Ernest has "become concerned about the steadily increasing volume of traffic moving through the Victoria Road/Stanwell Road junction in Penarth."

If Mr Ernest will take the time to stand at the junction of Beach Hill with Rectory Road and observe the number of vehicles using that route into the town, I think he will realise the one-way traffic system along the Esplanade has great bearing on the problem.

Sully and Lower Penarth traffic is now forced to use Westbourne Road, Plymouth Road or the not very convenient Marine Parade/Beach Hill route. More traffic lights we do not need!
