CD Review: The Very Best Of Lighthouse Family

THERE IS no need to debate about whether you should buy The very best of Lighthouse Family or not. Quite simply, if you are a fan, you will love this album.

Bursting at the seams with 17 tracks, all the favourites are there.

From Lifted and Ocean Drive to the soulful Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone this is a perfect soundtrack for long, warm summer nights.

Considering there are only two people in the band, songwriter and synthesiser-player Paul Tucker and vocalist Tunde Buiyewu, they have managed to pull off an amazing variety of hits.

Although there are 17 tracks on the CD, it includes two bonus tracks that are only available to UK audiences - a re-mix of Lifted and the song End Of The Sky.

And as a special feature, for those with internet connection there are seven tracks that can be downloaded from a website, giving anyone who buys this CD access to previously unreleased acoustic material. So whatever your mood or emotional state, give this disc a spin and you are sure to chill out and let the stress of the day float away.
