Girl power beats the elements!

THE Girls U-11 teams from Windsor and Dinas Powys LTC battled it out in a National Junior Club League match at Windsor recently.

The competition wasn't only against each other, since the very blustery wind and rain made playing conditions very difficult.

Windsor's team of Sarah Griffiths, Imogen Young, Charlotte Bloxham (not pictured) and Rebecca Badminton are playing together for the first time this year.

These matches have provided valuable and enjoyable experience in team tennis.

Results so far - pipped to the post by Dinas Powys and a resounding victory over Cardiff.
