Speak up

THE TORIES are in disarray over the Glebe Street retail quarter, Councillors Ernest, Osbourne and Kelly-Owen are going against their own cabinet, which approved the scheme in the first place.

Have they got the courage to speak publicly against their own cabinet, or are they just photo-grabbing opportunists?

If they did not want the scheme why didn't they raise the matter at the time in the Vale Council?

Is it because they think that they can win some votes and try and pretend that Labour is in charge of the Council as the landlord of the St Fagans Public House believes it to be?

It is about time the Tories told the truth and admitted that they are also supporting the retail quarter, or are they in fact a split group with no backbone?

Remember it is the Tories that control the council with some support from Plaid.
