Parking Up

THE PEDESTRIANISATION of Lower Glebe Street, though a good idea, seems a case of putting the cart before the horse.

To attract more visitors to Penarth we just need, as Mr Paul Church said, car parking space.

This must be a priority.

Then we need small interesting shops, but I don't suppose this is realistic if the rents are exorbitant in Penarth. Perhaps the town manager could look into this.

Also, before stalls and street entertainment are brought to the area, Arcot Lane, which is alongside Shaws, needs major attention. It's a disgrace and something the town manager could also hopefully improve.
