Cogan School celebrates its numerous successes

COGAN Primary School is already celebrating many successes this year - and it's not over yet.

The school has secured £5,000 funding from the Kids Club Wales to set up a breakfast club for pupils.

Its newly-formed lacrosse team played brilliantly and reached the quarter finals of the Welsh Championship after just three practises.

There were visits from Red Dragon FM radio station and Cardiff Devils ice hockey team.

The infants proudly paraded their Easter bonnets.

Children from Year 6 had a great time when they went to Stackpole for a week, learning about the environment and taking part in venture activities.

There are always strong candidates for the Proud To Present scheme, which includes weekly presentations and a monthly winner.

The school has also been given a computer and software after a parent won a Tesco Computers for Schools promotion.
