Fears have been expressed that a proposed motel and squash club at The Barons Court, near Cogan Pill roundabout, would dominate the existing historic building which houses the pub and restaurant.

When pupils left Victoria County Junior School, Penarth, at the end of term Robert Stephens said goodbye to Headmaster, Robert Lee and his school friends.

Penarth Conservative Ladies Chairman, Beryl Chapple thanked the helpers for their work and those who gave flowers for the recent fashion show at the Paget Rooms.

Langdon Jones Jnr, presented the Langdon Jones Memorial Trophy to Val Cox, captain of Penarth Ladies Darts League Champions Windsor Hotel 'A'.
