EXTRACTS from the Penarth Times of April 27, 1979:

The Royal Close and Harbour View Tenants Action Group last Thursday staged a demonstration to back their demands over heating, dampness and condensation problems.

Penarth Sea Angling Club staged a competition at Pembrey, Dyfed last Sunday when the 40 competitors landed a total of 80lb of fish.

Confusion has arisen over whether planning consent for the Llandough Farm development opposite St Dochdwy's Church, Llandough, is still valid or whether it has run out.

Penarth Venture Scout, David Llewellyn of Cliff Street, was one of over 800 recipients of the Queen's Scout Award, who were reviewed by Marshal of the Royal Air Force, Sir John Granby, in the Quadrangle, Windsor Castle, last Sunday.
