The Westbourne House School 'A' team squad has won the Penarth School under-11 mini rugby tournament for the second successive year.

Dave Frost was the week's star player - helping Station Hotel 'A' to a narrow 5-4 win over Ex-Service Club 'A'.
Three members of the Cwrt-y-Vil Jazz Band, Jemima Evans (attendant), Nicola Blackmore (Beauty Queen) and Lisa Jones (princess), have won their way through to the finals to be held at the Double Diamond Club, Caerphilly, in a competition for Beauty Queen, Princess and Attendant.
Susan Williams, Martin Francis and Gwynor Lewis, of St Cyres Comprehensive School, were awarded trophies for coming first first, after three rounds in the South Wales Area Debating competition, organised by the Rotary Club.
