All the fun of the Vale's big agricultural show

THE VALE OF GLAMORGAN Agricultural Show was a success despite the downpour which greeted so many of the revellers.

A torrent of water came down and soaked the stalls but the show went on despite the rain which did not spoil the day.

Many of the usual attractions were there with a bucking bronco and lots to do for children. All the traditional competitions were held to find the best sheep, cows, calves and plants which were judged on the day.

The grounds of Fonmon Castle were used to stage the yearly event which attracts hundreds of people.

Fairground rides, vintage tractors and plenty of stalls for all tastes were just a few of the attractions there.

The weather did pick up during the day but unfortunately the heavens opened for the annual event for proud animal owners to show off their livestock.
