Assault

I am writing this letter to confirm to the Penarth public, that the piece in last week's Penarth Times concerning Ian Munn assaulting his ex-girlfriend wasn't about me. It was my brother who finally retaliated and lashed out - just the once.

The police were called and my brother was arrested. My brother has never been charged with assault in his life, and this, I feel, was totally out of character. He is renowned for being a kind, caring, good man, with morals and principals that were drummed into us from childhood.

It's a shame, that the justice system cannot look at the big picture sometimes. I just wish that people would treat others the way they expect to be treated themselves, and give so much time to improving themselves that they have no time to criticise others, then Penarth would be a much nicer place to live.
