DVD Review - Shaun of the Dead

BRITISH humour is a many-headed beast - and so is the flick Shaun of the Dead'.

Billing itself as "a romantic comedy, with zombies" the unlikely hero is Shaun (funny-man Simon Pegg).

Shaun isn't having a good week. His co-workers have no respect for him and his beloved girlfriend Liz has had enough of his laziness and inconsiderate behaviour.

In his own little dream world, Shaun notices there's something amiss with the world when the undead start dropping into his garden to visit him. He sets off on a rather surreal, computer game-like mission to save his girlfriend Liz, who just finished with him, his rather dippy mother and reluctantly his father - sorry... step-father!

With Ed in tow, Shaun has to get the girl and save the day. But if you're not born a superhero, it can all start to unravel, as Shaun finds out
