THE REAL Radio fugitive was on the loose in Penarth last week with a £5,000 bounty on his head.
But Penarthians were unable to track him down during the sting and he managed to escape from the town unscathed with his bounty intact. The fugitive left his calling card in a pot of carnations at Chamberlain's flower shop on Stanwell Road.
The daily clue was 'Pink Panther', panther being an anagram of Penarth. All listeners have to do to win the cash bounty is track down the fugitive and ask "Are you the Real Radio fugitive?" within a bounty period. A daily clue is given on Real Radio at 8.15 each morning and additional clues are given throughout the day.
This was the fugitive's first visit to Penarth since the launch of the competition in September.
It is due to draw to a conclusion at the end of the week.
Real Radio announces 'bounty periods' throughout the day when the fugitive may be approached.
Once they have identified the fugitive, listeners have to phone the Real Radio hotline for confirmation by providing various personal details about the fugitive.
Listeners have until the end of the week to track down and capture the Real Radio fugitive who could be anywhere in the principality.
Successful bounty hunters will be able to claim a share of a £50,000 cash prize. The first clue of the day is given away at 8.15 on the breakfast show with Steve, Sarah and Gareth. This week on Real Radio there is also the chance to win VIP treatment for you and your workmates at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium and other prizes on "Risk it for a biscuit".
