Killed

THIS letter is for the attention of the driver of the car that ran over and killed the driver of my eight-and-a-half-year-old tabby cat on Sunday morning, September 19, in Castle Avenue, Penarth.

You ran over and killed a much-loved family pet, you did not even have the human decency to stop your car to see what you had done. This was seen by a lady driver in a car behind you. This kind lady took the trouble to carry Cindy away from the road where you had left her to die in agony and to try and find who she belonged to.

I thank this kind person for her care and for trying to help Cindy. My handicapped son is heartbroken. Whoever you are, you took no responsibility for your actions. I just hope no-one ever does the same thing to you, or causes the same heartache you have caused me and my family.
