My knight

THROUGH your publication, I would like to pass on my thanks to the kind and anonymous gentleman who came to my rescue at approximately 2.15pm on Monday, October 4, in Hickman Road.

Full up with the flu, I had paid a brief visit to Boots to stock up on the usual remedies. Returning to my car, I was dismayed to find that, while I had all my house keys, my car key had somehow become detached and was nowhere in sight.

My "Knight in Shining Armour" not only found the key, but took some trouble to return it to me safely.

Unfortunately, I did not catch his name, but would like, once again, to pass on my appreciation for his kindness and prompt action.
