CD Review - Duran Duran Astronaut

DURAN Duran's original line-up are back together again, and whatever their past differences, they seem to be enjoying their music again.

The material on their new album Astronaut is hardly in the same league as some of their older stuff, like the dynamic Wild Boys, but it's still worth a listen.

Their current single (Reach Up For The) Sunrise kicks off the album and the following 11 tracks are all strong contenders for their next release. They have adapted their sound, as they did in the 90s, to today's market and should be finding a whole new fan base to accompany their well-established followers.

It would be a shame if they dropped out of the limelight again, because they are better than many of the acts being given airtime at the moment.
