Ton-up Michael

A SULLY Centurion cricketer is hitting the big time on tour with England.

Michael O'Shea is the cricketing pride of the Vale after hitting a century in India for the Under-19s squad.

Michael left Barry Comprehensive School last summer to join Millfield, a top independent school with a strong sporting reputation.

The squad trained in Malaysia in preparation for their matches against India.

And Michael made an impressive start, blasting a century to put the team in control of their two-day match against the Bangalore Cricket Association.

Michael is following in the footsteps of many current England Test players who played for the Under-19s.
