Dinas defence holds out holds out

DINAS Powys RFC Under 12s travelled to Whitchurch Hospital to play Rhiwbina Under 12s and it was Rhiwbina who started the stronger with their forwards taking the game to Dinas.

Rhiwbina were camped on the Dinas line for some time but failed to score.

The Dinas defence held strong. Then Dinas opened the scoring after 15 minutes when a lovely ball was fed out by Darren (little Jenks) Breed to put Josh Hurley away.

Further tries by Jim Wiltshire (three) and Darren Breed with Josh Hurley converting.

Final score: Rhiwbina 7 Dinas Powys 27.
