I AM delighted that at last Penarth seafront is about to undergo an improvement scheme, long overdue.

However, I do not take kindly to the aggressive and bullying comments made by the developer: 'If the people of Penarth oppose it....I will abandon it'.

Who does he think he is? And what happened to the money he so graciously promised and allocated to 'do up the front'?

This new scheme is bound to go ahead as the process was already in motion:

Let buildings deliberately fall into disrepair and become a public eyesore. Bring in a wealthy developer, we are all beholden to them!

Let's see what happens to the Pier Pavilion...watch this space!
