Colts on fine form

SULLY Colts under 13s played Barry Eagles on Saturday, February 19 in an important match for Sully.

The Colts had underperformed at the start of the season but have now captured some fine form and produced excellent flowing football.

Mathew Metcalf scored an early goal and with Robert Taylor marshalling the Sully defence, they never looked like being breached.

The Sully midfield took complete control and further goals by Louis Jones and Hudson Hannah rounded off a fine first half display.

The second half took the same pattern and when a good passing movement down the right resulted in James Greenslade scoring a good near post header the game was put beyond doubt.

Mathew went on to achieve a personnel tally of four goals with some clinical finishing and the Colts eventually ran out 7-1 winners.
