Kittens

MAY we, through your letters page, tell the story of a beautiful kitten who is in desperate need of a responsible loving home.

Two weeks ago my friend, who has a cat of his own, was in the garden feeding two strays. He thought he heard a kitten cry, waited a while, but heard nothing more.

The next evening the weather was freezing and again he heard a kitten. He searched the garden and the kitten was sheltering in an outbuilding.

He tried to coax the kitten out but she was afraid. He pushed food in so at least she was feeding.

Then late one night she crept out and my friend was able to take her inside.

She was thin and her fur was matted with dirt. She is now putting on weight, is very affectionate and was spayed this week.

All efforts have been made to trace her owner.

She is beautiful and loving and deserves a happy home after such a cruel start in life.

If you can offer help please ring 2040 3275 after 6pm.

It never ceases to amaze us that owners still refuse to have their animals neutered. If money is short, help is available.
