Parklife

TODAY my walking took me through Belle Vue Park/bowling green, Albert Road, Penarth.

I haven't been through the park for some time, but I was really pleased and impressed to see how well the park is being kept, and further improvements are being worked on.

Part of the park is restricted to dogs, with spring-closing gates fitted at some entrances/exits.

I didn't see one scrap of litter, nor a broken seat/bench, which are all freshly painted. I didn't see any vandalism of any type.

The sculptures and flower beds and trees were very nice in the spring sunshine, clearly being enjoyed by the few picnickers in the park.
