Sully Sports Wolves 2
N&M Construction 1
(After extra time)
HAVING won everything they entered this season, N&M went into the Supporters Cup Final looking for the clean sweep.
But Wolves' young guns had other ideas.
The pace of Budda and Hinds had N&M worried throughout, and with young Ross and Shaw providing plenty of width, Wolves stretched their opponents.
Mike Hodgkinson gave Sully the lead after 30 minutes, glancing in a header from a free kick.
The second half saw the league champions pile on the pressure, but with man of the match Mitchal Taylor-Moore playing like a man mountain at centre half, N&M had little joy.
After Sully lost Ross through injury, Jaffa Braithwaite slotted into midfield and gave another outstanding display.
N&M drew level when sub D Manning lobbed Warner with 15 minutes left, but John Martyn was unlucky not to win it for the young Sully Sports side in the last seconds of normal time when his shot crashed against the upright.
So, extra time it was, with Wolves sensing victory with super subs Warren and Dave Stillman proving too fast and strong for an N&M team who had age against them.
Joe Hinds was fouled in the box, leaving referee Jenkins no choice but to award a penalty and Budda Martyn wasted no time in firing Wolves to victory.
Overall the season has gone well for the side's first year in senior football, and Wolves should go from strength to strength.
Thanks go to a key member of the set-up who has worked so hard for the last seven to eight years.
Thanks Granddad Steve, you are going to be missed by everyone in the team.

Cadoxton Imps 1
Having not played all season, player coach Lee Saunders showed the young Wolves what they have been missing, scoring the first goal and having a hand in at least four others as Sully ran riot. Other scorers were Shaw, Martin, Lloyd, Stillman, Warren and "J".

Playing everyone out of position for the final game, Wolves went out with a bang as the ageing legs of Grem 2 and Mike Hodgkinson stole the show up front.
Warren spent 60 minutes in goal and then came out to crash home two fine headers, rounding off an enjoyable afternoon for the hung-over Saunders.
