Top musical

PODS have just performed the show Calamity Jane at the Paget Rooms, Penarth.

PODS have put on an excellent show. It is all there! Dancing, singing and accomplished sets.Many thanks to you all for the entertainment.

An added bonus is the renewed strength of the men"s chorus where, I gather, successful transfer has been secured from the junior section of the local bowls club.

Two observations - I thought that 13 curtain calls (well rehearsed) was over zealous.

Secondly, the present incumbent of the role of Mr Henry Miller, the proprietor of the "Golden Garter" saloon, had a delivery more reminiscent of the Bedlinog Labour Club that the Black Hills of Dakota
