READERS might be forgiven for thinking the whole of Plassey Street is included in the current Penarth Central Renewal Area.

A large map of the designated area can be viewed from the window of the Renewal Area Office, at 88 Glebe Street.

Readers should also be aware that the office is open for a few hours in the mornings only and as the notice on the door states, the door cannot be opened as only one person works there.

Alas only two small sections of the north side of Plassey Street currently qualify and this area encompasses what appears to be mainly the commercial area ringing Glebe Street.

One long section of Arcot Street similarly has not been included.

In the light of the Penarth Times front page article on June 2, can we now be incorporated into this plan?
