VANDALS ten days ago tore all the protective railings from the 200-year-old pond at Alexandra Park and threw them in.
This weekend they pulled out all the coping stones around the pond and smashed them to pieces.
Children were seen trying to stab the fish with long sticks.
The answer to this is to close the park in the evenings.
