British Legion praisedby MP
THE Royal British Legion in the Vale of Glamorgan were praised on the floor of the House of Commons by Vale MP, John Smith.
John Smith paid tribute to their plans to refurbish the Hall of Memories in the Barry Memorial Hall to mark the 60th anniversary of the Second World War. He said: "The Royal British Legion are to be commended for all their efforts in organising events and initiatives to commemorate the 60th anniversary. Their plans for the Hall of Memories would be a fitting tribute to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice."
