Still a ruin

I MAY be wrong, but I can"t help thinking that now the opposers of the Beachcliff redevelopment scheme seem to have had their way, the Beachcliff buildings will remain as they are for a very long time - maybe decades.

In my opinion, the situation on the seafront can be likened to that at the Custom House/Old Dock Offices at the far end of Penarth Marina. The Custom House building has been completely renovated/ refurbished whereas the Dock Offices are still a ruin. Redevelopment schemes put forward for this ruin have been opposed, so we"re still left with a ruin while the land value is increasing all the time.

Penarth Baths are being renovated/refurbished while redevelopment schemes for Beachcliff are and will be opposed.
