A PENARTH cyclist was left fuming after a van-load of junior golfers drenched him with water.
Felice Cirino, of Althorp Drive, said: "I had decided to take a ride on my bike and make the most of a fantastic weekend.
"Pedalling away into Penarth Town centre was great.
"At the end of my journey home I was appalled at what happened.
"As I was a riding, a mini-van full of kids drove past - I felt water on my head and then jeering.
"They had sprayed water all over me and a plastic bottle almost hit me."
Mr Cirino soon caught up with the culprits.
He said: "I turned the corner and came round to Glamorganshire Golf Club - there I saw the van, the kids and their golf clubs.
"Had I not feared for the fact that I would have been arrested for violent behaviour, I would have gone and spoken to them."
Mr Cirino added: "I know several people who are members of the golf club, and I have been there recently as a guest.
"I was treated very well and it was an enjoyable evening.
