Michael to make first-class impression

VALE cricket star Michael O'Shea will make his first class debut for Glamorgan against Bangladesh A in a three-day match this week.

The fixture at Abergavenny Cricket Club started on Tuesday.

Eighteen-year-old Sully Centurion Michael has been in prolific batting form recently.

The right-handed batsman and off-spinner has struck four hundreds in his last five innings, with centuries for Glamorgan 2nd XI against Worcestershire 2nds at Panteg and Warwickshire 2nd XI in their Second Eleven Trophy match last week, plus 115 and 100 not out off just 55 balls for Wales Minor Counties against Dorset at the Abergavenny ground ten days ago.
