ONLY A few rearranged matches were played in the Astoria Cardiff and Vale Junior Cricket League this week, after they had been rained off earlier in the season.
Barry U15s beat St Fagans U15s in an thrilling match at Barry Island.
Barry scored 115 for 2 in their 20 overs and in an exciting run chase St Fagans reached the target for the loss of four wickets.
Barry won as they had taken more wickets than their opponents.
In the U15B League Radyr beat Lisvane by 51 runs. Radyr scored 127 for the loss of five wickets - Lewis Davies retired on 35 and Chris Butlin scored 30.
Lisvane were all out for 76 despite a good effort from A Evans who scored 23.
In the Under 13A League Cardiff beat the Pentyrch Hawks but lost to St Fagans by 34 runs.
St Fagans were 88 for 9 off their 20 overs and in reply St Fagans bowled Cardiff out for 51 runs in 15.2 overs.
Chris Lawlor was the highest scorer in the game with 29 and wickets were shared around the St Fagans bowlers with James Brinning taking three and Dan Dursley two.
For Cardiff R Heyatt and O Best both took two wickets.
The League Finals Day will be held at St Fagans Cricket Club on Sunday, August 28, and players, officials and parents from all League Clubs (not just the finalists) are cordially invited to attend.

Under 11A: St Fagans v Pentyrch Maroons.
Under 11B: Penarth v Sully Centurions.
Under 13A: St Fagans v Cardiff.
Under13B: Lisvane v Whitchurch Heath.
Under 15A: St Fagans v Cowbridge.
Under 15B: Radyr v Pentyrch.
