Penarth A took on Pembrokeshire in a game in which they were ahead several times.

The Seasiders dominated the first half taking the lead thanks to a goal from Lloyd Kidby only for the opposition to snatch a goal against the run of play just before the break.

Penarth scored quickly after half time when Adam Morse slotted home only for Pembrokeshire to equalise again.

Although Penarth continued to press for the winner, they were left exposed at the back allowing Pembrokeshire to snatch a goal in the last five minutes.

Penarth B travelled to Whitchurch E for a master class in hockey. They were fortunate to hold the vastly more experienced side to 3-0 at half time.

The team rallied at the start of the second half before running out of steam, allowing Whitchurch to run away with the game for a final score of 9-0.
