AM backs animal welfare site

AM LORRAINE Barrett has launched a new website highlighting the animal welfare work carried out at the assembly.

Mrs Barrett said: "This is the first ever website designed to highlight the work of an assembly all-party group.

"The All-Party Group for Animal Welfare (APGAW) is an all-party/cross-party group made up of assembly members and associate animal welfare organisations.

"The group aims to promote and further the cause of animal welfare by all means available in the National Assembly for Wales.

"The Group has over 40 regular associate members, and many supporting Assembly Members from the four main political parties."
