MPhails new nursery as credit to the college

PENARTH MP Alun Michael offically opened the new nursery at Coleg Glan Hafren.

Meithrinfa Glan Hafren Nursery is located on the Trowbridge campus. The nursery hosts 50 children, whose parents are college staff, students and members of the local community.

Costing more than 500,000 this purpose-built facility is an ambitious new service for Cardiff's largest provider of education and training. The college provides over 800 courses and subjects to nearly 14,000 people aged from 16 to 84.

Alun Michael said: "This nursery gives an opportunity to people who would otherwise be delayed in their education. It's a credit to the college and I am pleased to support it."
