Penarth is a winter wonderland

PENARTH was transformed into a winter wonderland last week as the first snow of the season arrived.

The weather was not severe enough to cause the closure of schools and roads, which affected other parts of Wales.

Forecasters at the Met Office say we are unlikely to see any more snow for a while.

Milder weather is on the way in December with low pressure moving across the UK, bringing unsettled conditions in from the Atlantic.

As it turns milder, it'll also become a good deal cloudier.
